Background
Founded in 1897 as a school of accountancy and secretarial training in Mahanoy City, Pennsylvania, McCann School of Business and Technology has grown tremendously over time. Today McCann offers high-tech, cutting-edge education in all 24 of our programs of study.Campus Information
We feature four convenient Pennsylvania locations where you can earn your college degree from the proud heritage found at McCann School of Business and Technology.Our McCann-Hazleton Campus includes classrooms, offices, computer labs featuring Pentium computers, our library and student lounge.
The McCann-Pottsville Campus is a state-of-the-art facility in brand new construction. This campus includes admissions offices, computer labs, a student lounge and library.
Our McCann-Sunbury and Scranton Campuses are both in a roomy air-conditioned suite and house our offices, computer labs, library, classrooms and a student lounge.
Class Format
With 4 campus locations across Pennsylvania, McCann School provides multiple options for attending courses. Courses are scheduled multiple times throughout the week and during day and night hours to provide added flexibility for those with a hectic schedule. We accept admissions applications all year and students can check our online academic calendar to see exact start dates for semesters and special sessions.In 2007 we began offering classes online to allow more students to participate in getting a great education in business and technology using the technology found at our fingertips! Our classes offer small student numbers and plenty of hands-on real world experience.
Affordability
At McCann, we use the FastWeb system to help students complete the largest and most complete scholarship search available on the internet. With it we have access to over 400,000 scholarships, fellowships, grants and student loans. Your past experiences in education are just as important to us as they are to you. If you wish to join the ranks of our talented students, you’ll be pleased to know nearly half of the total quarter credit hours you’ve already earned may be credited towards your studies with us. Graduates of McCann have the benefit of being eligible for employment placement services throughout their careers. We help you with resume preparation, job applications and interviews and our Career Placement Service puts an emphasis on helping you secure employment. If you graduate from McCann, you’ll always have the support you need to succeed!
If you need to brush up on training at some point after graduation, we offer select refresher courses at no additional tuition cost for our graduates.
